Here in Omaha we have a lot of
severe weather. We have Tornado's form here
regularly. Since my house is at the top of a very
high hill, and our Deck has a view south, we often see
very unusual cloud formations, lots of wall clouds,
supercells, and we've even seen Tornado's form.
Someone mentioned that I should photograph some of these
things, and I have decided to do so. If you click
on the links below you can witness some of the unusual
phenomenon I see from my deck.

2008 I went out on my deck to see what the weather
was doing and was amazed to see a perfect Roll Cloud.
Ran back inside and grabbed my camera to catch this very
unusual cloud formation.
Supercell & Hook .. 11 Jun 2008 .. This
is the same cell that put down the tornado 80 mi. north
of us that killed 4 (injured 52) at the Little Sioux Boy
Scout Camp.
VIDEOS: Omaha Tornado - 23 Mar 2009 This was a few
miles away. We weren't getting any hail, so I
didn't feel threatened (hail is usually in front of a
tornado). The thing that surprised me, was that
the warning sirens for our area did not go off. I had to stop filming
because my caring husband was calling me to come inside and
go to our basement shelter."Are you nuts? Get
in the house!" ha!
